My friend and I stayed at the Villa Medici January 13 to 16. Lucio is a treasure. He gave us so much information on the area and could not have been more helpful. He does your organization a great service. When an employee goes beyond normal service, I think you should know. I would stay at the Sea Hotels again. L'hotel è situato in una zona periferica di Napoli (Bagnoli). Dista poco più di 1 km dalla Città della Scienza. Ho alloggiato al Villa Medici per via della manifestazione "Futuro Remoto 2009" in cui sono stato chiamato ad esporre presso uno stand con un mio collega. L'albergo è pulito e la nostra camera era una bella suite con bagno dotato di doccia, salottino con tv lcd con digitale terrestre e divano, soppalco con due letti, collegamento internet VDSL gratuito anche se non molto funzionante. La colazione è a buffet ma non particolarmente varia: bevanda calda a scelta, fette biscottate con burro e marmellata o miele, piccole brioche. Nonostante la distanza dal centro di Napoli, il luogo è ben servito dai mezzi, la fermata della Ferrovia Cumana di Agnano è 500 m prima, mentre l'autobus ferma 500 m dopo, al termine di via Nuova Bagnoli.

Bon acceuil, un peu petit mais intime et chaleureux. Le cartier n'est pas très beau mais on peut rejoindre le centre de Naples très vite en voiture ou en train (la Cumana)

Im Hotel Villa Medici haben wir 4 Nächte verbracht, 3 davon im Zimmer 304. Es lag zur Straße hin, die am Morgen sehr laut wurde. Da wir die Fenster geschlossen hielten bei 10 Grad draußen, war es erträglich. Zur Rückseite liegt das Hotel an der Bahnlinie, die aber von Mitternacht bis gegen 6 Uhr Ruhe gab. Sonst fährt auf der Cumana-Linie (Station ca 400m, bis Monte Santo) alle 10 Minuten ein Zug, der das Haus erbeben lässt. Der Ort Bagnola bietet Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einige kleine Restaurants und Pizzerien. Die zweite Bahnlinie führt bis zum Hauptbahnhof. Dort halten die Busse (3S und Alibus für 3 Euro extra) zum Flughafen. Der Bahnhof Bagnola Terme liegt 900m vom Hotel entfernt. Von der Industriebrache (ex-Stahlwerk) sieht man kaum etwas. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit Hotel und riesigem Zimmer. In der Küche gibt es keinerlei Geschirr!! Also alles mitbringen. Der Herd funktioniert.

The hotel is splendid, the rooms very comfortable and the service excellent. We also were touched by your offering a bottle of wine for Tony's birthday.
